Websites for dental practices

A practice website has two jobs: help a patient decide to book, and help Google understand which treatments you offer and where. Many sites do the first reasonably and the second badly, or neither on a phone.

What a practice website needs

  • A page for each treatment you want to grow, written for patients: what it involves, who it suits, how to book an assessment.
  • Clear NHS and private information, including whether you're taking new NHS patients.
  • Booking that works on a phone: a call button, your online booking link and a short enquiry form.
  • The details the GDC expects: practice name and address, contact details, GDC registration numbers and qualifications for the clinicians named, a link to the GDC, how to complain, and when the site was last updated.
  • Built for search from the start: a sensible title on every page, details Google can read (structured data), quick pages and no broken links.

The GDC's guidance on advertising applies to your website, so the copy we write avoids promises about results and claims that compare you with other practices.

New website or fix the one you have?

Often the site you have is fine and Google just isn't showing it: titles, missing treatment pages and Google Business Profile problems are cheaper to fix than a rebuild. The free review tells you which situation you're in. If it's fixable, the fix-it package is £295–495 one-off.

What it costs

A new website is £1,200–1,800 one-off, or £99–149 a month over 12 months, for 8 to 10 pages written for you. You own the site and the domain. Website care, covering hosting, backups, security updates and small changes, is £49–69 a month. Prices exclude VAT; see all prices.

A new site is the start, not the end. Most practices add local SEO so the site keeps gaining ground in Google and Google Maps.

Questions practices ask

Do we keep the website if we stop working with you?

Yes. The site and the domain are yours. If you move it elsewhere, we hand over everything needed.

Will a new website lose our place in Google?

Not if the move is handled carefully: old addresses are redirected to the matching new pages so Google and patients' bookmarks follow them. We check positions before and after.

Who writes the pages?

We do, from a short call with you about your treatments, team and patients. You approve every page before it goes live.
